Please follow the steps below in order to get PRISM set up to use the Reverse Auction enhancement in Requisitions. 


SECURITY ROWS CHANGES:

For this enhancement three new security rows were added: 

  • Reverse Auction - Cancel 
  • Reverse Auction - Delete 
  • Auction - Post

When you select the check box, the users in the group will have access to the related selection in the drop-down list in the Other Actions field on the ribbon bar in regular requisitions. The default value for new these security rows is Off. 


AGENCY INTERFACE CHANGES:

The following three new fields were added to the System Setup | Interfaces | External page in the System Setup module: 

  • Reverse Auction Portal API Key (Use the Reverse Auction Portal API Key field to record up to 50 characters for the reverse auction access token. The value in this field is encrypted. This is the token you obtain from Unison, as described in Obtaining Reverse Auction API Key.)
  • Reverse Auction Portal URL (Use the Reverse Auction Portal URL field to record a URL of up to 250 characters for the reverse auction web service.)
  • Reverse Auction Portal Name (Use the Reverse Auction Portal Name field to record a name of up to 50 characters for the reverse auction portal.)


AGENCY-LEVEL SETUP CHANGES: 

The Reverse Auction Portal section and its fields are new on the System Setup | Sys Configuration | Agency | Options page as part of this enhancement. The new fields are: 

  • Reverse Auction Credentials (Select Agency if all sites may use Reverse Auctions. (This is the default value.) Select Site Determines if selected sites may use Reverse Auctions.)
  • Reverse Auction Portal ID (Type up to 50 characters for the reverse auction portal API key or URL. This is an Agency Options page and site-level Posting Options page field. When set up for sites, it is hidden on Agency Options.)
  • Reverse Auction Portal Password (Type up to 50 characters for the password associated with the RA portal ID. Password text is hidden whether you type text in the field or it is read-only. This is an Agency Options page and site-level Posting Options page field. It is read-only for sites when set up at the agency-level. When set up for sites, it does not display on Agency Options.)


SITE-LEVEL SETUP CHANGES: 

If the agency configuration is set to "Site Determines," some site-level configuration is necessary to use the reverse auction feature. To support this enhancement, the Reverse Auction Portal section and its fields are new on the System Setup | Sys Configuration | select a site and Open | Posting Options page. The new fields are:

  • Reverse Auction Portal ID (See above under Agency-Level Setup.)
  • Reverse Auction Portal Password (See above under Agency-Level Setup.)
